SPARK Schools Kempton
Education Precinct
Project Overview
Adaptive Reuse Education Campus | 2,000m²
SPARK Schools Kempton involved the adaptive reuse of an existing industrial building to deliver a new primary school campus within a dense commercial and light-industrial area.
The project required careful coordination between multiple consultants to transform the single-storey structure into a functional multi-level education environment capable of accommodating growing student demand. Programme constraints required the design approach to prioritise speed of delivery while maintaining cost control.
Steel fabrication and prefabricated construction systems were strategically incorporated to accelerate the build programme and minimise disruption within the surrounding operational industrial context.

Integrated Focus
• Adaptive reuse of existing industrial building
• Structural strategy incorporating steel and prefabrication systems
• Multidisciplinary consultant coordination
• Programme acceleration and cost control
NEXT Group assumed the project from previous consultants and implemented a coordinated delivery strategy to stabilise programme timelines and optimise design efficiency. Through integrated consultant management and focused project coordination, the school was delivered successfully without disrupting the daily operations of surrounding businesses.
